Great target- just give it a coat of fresh paint and you’re good to go again. Ordered a 2nd after someone accidentally shot the 1st with a 30-06 (actually held up at 30 yards, but put a pretty big ding in it). Great target- has taken close to 1000 rounds now. The reactive motion and noise makes sighting in so fun!
Just like all the other steel targets I've purchased from Brad...Atlas Targets....this KYLimits target is fantastic. I know there are multitudes of sources for steel targets but there's absolutely no reason to use anyone else. Brad offers incredible customer service & makes impeccable products. Support him & you will not regret buying anything you spend your hard earned money on with this company. Thanks Brad for doing an excellent job and standing behind your work.
I have shot at many KYL racks. This is simply the best. I just bought a second one. You really need the 3/8" thickness if you are going to be shooting at them a lot and with anything bigger than a .22 caliber cartridge. With a .22, I have yet to cause any damage. The 3/8" thickness also gives more options for using larger caliber cartridges. The rack is also good at honing skills with larger calibers out at larger distances. Just keep in mind to heed the warning about how much velocity you can hit them with or you will damage or destroy the targets.
These are a great upgrade! They are well designed and fit perfectly. They are easy to install, easy to disassemble and store. I can't recommend them enough.
I bought a couple of gravity poppers for my grandsons. The 6 year old is a good marksman (iron sights and scope) but as we increase the range he may be prone to missing low. I bought these to prevent a low shot from eventually messing up the popper. They are easy to install, fit perfectly, and do the job.
Exceptionally well built and durable. The reactive vitals are awesome. I've put 22LR, 223, 6ARC, 6mm CM, and 308 on this steel and it performs flawlessly. Easy to pick up move around the range in a side by side. My kids love shooting this with their 22s as well.
I’ve got the bobcat with the reactive vitals on this stand. It sets up in seconds. Good design.
These targets are excellent, I purchased 6 targets in various sizes and 3 double hangers to hang the from. Both the targets and the stakes perform as expected.
Great product. Previously used hooks on my range in backyard which, depending on caliber, would flip my gongs around, fall off, or otherwise cause me to make a 100yd walk to reset.
No more of any of that with these. Positive mechanical connection to gong with bolts and lock nuts and two holes at top end of strap around my black pipe. Gongs are good to go regardless of how hard I hit’um! Tested my 1/2” AR500 6” gong with my 375 H&H magnum. 260nosler partition. Wish I had a video to show the gong flipped all around…and then reset ready for the next one!
Straps are a must and superior to anything else! Thanks!
These are excellent. Everyone at the range was asking about them.
Get the stands/ feet. They come off with a pin and lay flat for travel.
Highly recommend.
It's easy to assemble and transport. It's solid and the way the targets interlock with the spinner bar is very well thought out. I'm looking forward to years of good use.
I'm in the process of painting the squirrel target pink for use in a slingshot tournament. Can't wait to hear it ring out when hit with steel ammo. Very impressed with the quality. I plan on buying more targets.
I left you a voice message about possibly being a sponsor of the slingshot tournament in the Richmond, Virginia area next year.
Please get in contact with me if in some form or fashion that is possible. I could go into more detail. Thanks again.
Well, I didn't receive what I thought I ordered. But that is a good thing. The website shows a 3 leg base. What I received, was a 4 leg base. I could be wrong but I think this is the 4th version of bases. What I bought some time ago was version 2. And I did love them. However, when It came to storage and transportation, not so much. Looks like brad came up with a takedown version which is pictured on his website. I am not sure if I ended up getting version 3 or 4. Either way, I am very happy. I think the 4 legs makes it very stable vs. the 3 legs. As far as storage and transport, I don't think you can find a better option on the internet. the target stand as a total system is a must have. It just checks all the boxes: storage, transport, cost and functionality.
Set up and take down is simple. Remove the 2 cotter pins and you are left with 3 pieces that store flat. Assembly takes seconds. Insert the two legs into a notch and insert the cotter pin. Technically, you don't need the pins unless you want to pick it up and carry it without it coming apart.
If you bought an older version, upgrade to this new base. Yes you already paid for the other base. However, once you put this in the back of your car and It takes up Zero room, It's worth it. If you have never bought this stand as a total system, stop looking and put one in your cart.
Thanks Atlas Target Works. Quick fulfillment and shipping of order. Love the small targets for rimfire and 9mm practice. No issues with 200 rounds each. If you are looking for great products and customer service, then look no further. Brad will help you get you what you need. Always been professional in responding quickly to any questions.
