This target is a great alternative to the Prairie Dog Spring Popper if you're looking to save a little money. Just make sure you have the right kind of soil to support it. If it's too hard or too soft it won't properly support it.

I bought several of these guys about 6 months ago. There was an issue related to a change made to the design and as a result one of my spring bases was for a slightly different pattern of prairie dog. Brad went above and beyond and got everything squared away for me so I could get to shoot and shoot them I have.
I am really bad at leaving reviews but these little varmints continue to impress enough that I felt compelled. I have no clue how many rounds these things have taken but it is into the thousands. Mostly pistol and 22 but some rifle (.223, .30-30, even a few 45-70s on the 1/2 inch one). They make an awesome slap when getting hit with a .44 but take no damage from them. Really nicely detailed cut as well and no sharp edges or spurs with solid hardware so less-than-great shots aren't going to destroy the stand. I get a few plates every year to continually expand the range and will definitely be considering more Atlas targets in the future.

I've used Brad's targets on multiple occasions and have used multiple types of his targets, stands and holders. Damn good product at a damn good price, with super fast shipping.

I purchased these prairie dog targets for a more portable option. They are reasonably sized, light weight, well-priced, and they easily stab into the ground once I get to the range. The quality is definitely there, and they are a fun plinking option that I use with .22 to 9mm.

Bought two of the 15 inch targets. Shot them at 250 yards and 345 yards with:
-6.5 Creedmoor 140 grain SSTs
-22-250 with hot 50gr hand loads going just over 4000fps at the muzzle
-223 fmj and vmax
-308 150 grain SP and FMJ
Paint chipped off which is expected but very minimal dimpling even with the 22-250 which has put good sized divots in AR500 at extended ranges. Springs are strong and give a good feedback when the targets are hit solidly. Lots more fun than shooting a square steel plate!
