Pipe Hook Target Hanger

I have over 100 steel rimfire targets on the range with various hangers. This is far and away the very best target hanger I've found. No disapointment here.

I love Atlas targets and there hook system iv bought the 6" and 12" hooks along with some plates. the locking system is the best part of the hook. Iv bought from other AR500 target sites before and the workman ship is NOT the same. Atlas cleans the edges and sand smooth the plates and hooks you can tell they do little extra work on them to make a difference. I will be a life customer.

So I replaced my old pipe hooks with Brads new design. I liked the old except had trouble with the small light targets. Either sticking in the upright position or just falling off. My only problem with this new design is using the bolt and lock nut. While using the bolt and lock nut should not be an issue for a semi permanent target stand placement. For me setting up and taking down target stands while people wait for me on the range is an issue. My solution was a 3/4 in. clevis and cotter pin. Set up and take down is much faster and easier. Beyond that, the new design works great and I no longer have issues with those small targets. Brad has always had great customer service, Lightning speed shipping and constant design innovation. Anything you buy from Atlas target works, you should be very! happy.

I was hanging my 16" AR500 ½” gong target with chains from a cross beam between 2 trees. Setup was working ok but had to replace one of the chains. It was a pain to redo the setup. I wanted a larger second target for iron sights so I contacted Brad (I've bought a few other targets from him) and told him about my set up. I sent him pics of what I had and he suggested the better way to hang both targets on the same beam was by using his hangers made of AR500. I bought them with the new target and hung them both together (see before/after pics). Looks great and they work great together. (left side target not made by Brad-had to use chains). Brad is awesome to work with. Very personable business and he will quite please you with his craft!! I will continue to be a customer. Thanks Brad.

These are top tier. I had a cheep set from amazon that work perfectly fine. But once I go these I realized I just stepped up my game. I ordered 4, and in addition to the hooks, I received 4 lock bolts and 8 clips to go on the pipe. I placed one clip on either side of each hook. I hung the starling and squirrel gongs I order from atlas. On the other two I hung a 1" ar-500 gong and a 2" ar-500 gong. With the cheap amazon hook, the 1" gong and hook would spin completely around the pipe twice (22 cal slug at 980 fps using pop air rifle) when hit and shift left or right. With these hooks, the 1" gong doesn't make a complete spin and the lock bolts ensure it stays on. now that I know, I will only order my targets and gongs from Atlas. gang these hooks on 3/4" black pipe which has a 1" outer diameter.

I own the old style and now the new style, I like the new style better, but I both are great products.

The Hangers like all the other Atlas targets I have purchased are first rate. These are top of the line. Quality construction and well designed. You will not find a better value

These target hangers are exactly what I needed. We've had issues with some of our smaller rimfire targets falling off another brand's hangers, but with these, that's not a problem. I could hit those targets with a centerfire, and they would stay put. Well done, Brad!

Pipe Hanger design is very good, easy to use, and fits securely into the hole in targets. Also like the way the target leg base kits attach so easily to the top black pipe the individual targets hang from. Easy set-up & take down!

Target hangers are awesome

The retaining bolt and lock nut are a great way to permanently secure the target and keep it from falling off when shot. However, I need to be able to swap out the targets quickly. So I followed the suggestion from another reviewer and used a clevis and cotter pins to secure the target.

Atlas sent bolts to secure targets on hangers that I didn't use and no matter how hard I tried, couldn't knock the targets off the hangers, great design.

I made a plate rack with the leg brackets and J hooks, and 5 inch round targets. My local club features a plate rack at out matches.

I ordered some of these for a series of targets that I had ordered. After reviewing the order I already placed, I realized I ordered 1 hanger short of the targets I had ordered. I immediately called Brad and asked if I could get 1 more hanger added to the order because I screwed up. He went ahead and through the extra hanger in for free even though I offered to pay for it. That may not sound like much, but for him to do that and not even charge me even though it was MY screwup means a lot and shows the character of this man. Customer for life!!!

I've been a customer of Brad's for several years now. This new style of hook is excellent. Awesome to see continuous design improvement! I've used them a few times now and expect them to last a good long time.

The new hook design with the crossbolts is fantastic for smaller targets that swing a lot more when they get hit. As usual, my order arrived quickly in perfect condition. You have to admire the attention to detail to include the hose clamps and bolts needed to mount the hangers. Five stars!

Had a 1/2” plate hanging from one of the at a get together and someone pulled out a 50 cal and proceeded with a first round hit standing with open sights at 100yds, I was impressed with their shooting ability lol. It folded the pipe the target was hanging on but the hanger and the 1/2” plate(also Atlas) showed no signs of damage. I don’t recommend the 50 cal at 100yds but the durability of the setup impressed me and I’ll be buying more and recommending others for the same. Thanks for a well thought out product, keep up the good work!

I love these hooks. Makes setup or disassembly a breeze. I’ve used chains, straps you name it to hang targets. These hooks are second to none. They will work on other brand targets as long as they are slotted. If they are not slotted it won’t work unless you cut the nipple off the end of the hook or grind it down.

Hands down some of the best hooks you will find out there. Nice to see someone has finally put thought and common sense logic into these and did it right. Solid as a rock and customer service from Brad is top notch.

I hang 4" circles on these hangers.
At 40 yards, hitting the target will spin the target completely over the cross bar.
Very entertaining and no question about being a "hit".
