Really fast shipping, great packaging, easy set up.
At 300 yards 6 dashers and cm's will spin it in 2 well timed shots with no weights.
At 400yds with no weights a 6.5cm will spin it in 3.
Overall great deal, the only thing I've changed on it is I got a longer piece of solid round stock (cross member). The one that comes with it would be great if shooting it by yourself ,but it's a little small. I suggest getting something a little longer to prevent the legs getting shot if your setting it up for a match/ public range. (Cost ~25$ for a 8' stick at a local metal shop)
Should have ordered this years ago. Super fast shipping, and easy assembly. Took it to the range within a couple days, only shot it with pistols so far, 9mm and 40 S&W. Works great, recommend adding 1 weight to challenge 9mm shooters (have to double/triple tap to get moving).
This is an absolute must for training, sight picture, timing and reloading. Had good shooters driven "mental" over failing to spin spinner, these shooters have no problem hitting the 6" & 8" plates but would hit it at wrong timing. A true challenge to multi-tasking, watch the sights and hit the plates but at the wrong time, watch the plates to get the timing and miss the plates. You can't fire enough misses to spin this spinner, only hits count.
This target will be used in an upcoming 2-gun SWAT competition as the last target during a pistol stage and I will say they are in for a rude awakening (I'm not allowing any practice).
Can't wait to try it at 250-300 yards with 6.5 creedmoor & 308 bolt guns and see if I can get it to spin.
Will definitely ordering more targets from Brad to include another spinner.
So I gotta say ordering the spinner was something I wanted to do for quite some time. I work nights so I ordered it around 1:30am and was surprised when I got an email At 8:30am (7 hours later!) telling me that it was shipping. I got it a few days later and used it that weekend. Gotta say this thing is AWESOME! It held up to a LOT of pistol and shotgun with no issues so I decided to take it to 80 yards (I know it says 100 Or more for rifles but 80 was all I had) and see what it could handle. I used green tip and standard ball 5.56, steel core 7.62x39, 308, 30-06 and 300 win mag on it and it took it and kept coming back for more. If you’re having ANY doubts about buying this spinner, don’t. A simple re-spray with a rattle can and it was good to go. I do a lot of 3 gun and the guys I practice with loved it and so do I. If I could give it 10 stars I would.
Some simple tools and a short trip to Home Depot for the legs was all it took to assemble it and I was up and running in no time at all. I will 100% be buying more targets from atlas and after this past weekend so will my buddies. 10/10
Well built and works fine. Been shooting with 9mm and 45acp with no weights added at a distance of about 10 yards. You can spin it with 3 shots with 45 and about 6 or 7 with 9mm. I think the only thing to suggest on the stand is to make it where it stays together easier if you just wan to pick it up and move it. Have seen other target mfgs. have holes in those little AR500 pieces where the legs slip on. Then they use a clip through a hole in the EMT and through the bracket. This way when you pick it up slightly the legs do not fall off. Other than that a great product
Well built. Solid. Works just fine. Initial setup is getting weights adjusted just right. If not set up right, will spin too easily or not easy enough. Grease the spinner to make it spin easier. Did have one arm come loose after shooting it several times. Might as well save money and not paint the plates. Paint chips off with every hit. Works well and fun to shoot at. Worth the money? You decide.
